Vlad Basarab was a Transylvanian voรฏvod who gained his nickname “Tepes” meaning “Impaler” by pushing the boundaries of cruelty and impaling his adversaries among other atrocities during the war against Turkish army.
The cruel voรฏvod was a member of the Drakul Order and directly inspired Bram Stoker to create the world famous vampiric villain Dracula.
